Hey everyone! It's been a while since I updated obviously, thanks for all of your support on Shelby!  I really appreciate it.

Well let me see here what have I been up to since then..... well school sucks but what else is new.  This weekend I'm spending my time visiting the two colleges I've been accepted to: Ohio State University and Purdue University.  I got back from the Maximums competition last night a Ohio State, that was fun.  I went up Thursday night and spend the night in a hotel on campus and go to wander around which was cool.  Then on Friday I went to the Union to have the essay competition with a massive amount of other students.  Afterwards I went back, had lunch, got to tour all of the dorms for honors housing which was fun.  Then I drove home, which was actually interesting because one exit was closed off a couple of minutes away from the university due to a police situation.  Had dinner at applebees and came home and then hung out with my girl, Emily.  So today is packed full of homework and work since I leave tomm morning for Purdue and won't get back until Monday night.  Later y'all.

Alright yeah it's obviously been a while since I've updated, so I'll try to fill you in quickly.  The ski trip that i went on at the end of January was fun, the weather was warm so it was nice to be able to ski in a t-shirt.  Semester grades came out and I got nothing lower than a B-, which was in Calc ofcourse.  Just went on a field trip today which was nice seeing as I didn't have to do anything all day and hung out with my amazing english group.  That was definately fun times.  However time for the sad news, we had to put my dog Shelby to sleep recently, she had gone in for a check-up and her shots and they found a tumor on her once they did an ultrasound so she had to go in for surgery the following day.  They didn't know if she would pull through or they'd be putting her to sleep until she was on the table so I wouldn't know until my parents told me.  So I went to school after saying a quick good bye to Shelby that Monday morning, mom and dad took her in as I left for school.  They opened her up on the table and found a tumor the size of a small basket ball in her lodged between her stomach, liver, and small intestine.  So we ended up having to put her to sleep since there was no way to remove the tumor and Shelby still have a comfortable life.  However as my dad put it, she lived thirteen good years and didn't feel a thing from the tumor when she had it, she left the house wagging her tail the whole way.....

Shelby, I'll miss you forever, you were a wonderful dog who was always here for anyone of us whether it be listening to us talk to you or being used as a pillow. May you rest in peace girl.
